Together We Rise
For the past 5 years, RiseUp Malawi has been diligently expanding its programs with the limited resources available to us. While we’ve managed to grow our programs using a renovated chicken coup that can hold about 15 students at a time, we've decided that the only way to continue to grow is to make a larger investment in the community. As a result we’ve taken on a massive endeavor to launch a capital development campaign to build a new structure that will house our growing programs and serve as a space for income generating activities within the community. We believe this structure is critical to our growth and to community development.
On August 25th we are hosting a fundraiser at a private residence in Los Angeles to kick off this campaign to raise funds for a new building. It will be sunset cocktail hour evening full of music, great food & drink, & a silent auction.
