Article 26 of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, 10 December 1948:

Everyone has a right to an education.

Every day, young people in Malawi face tremendous barriers to education: life threatening diseases like malaria & HIV/AIDS, malnutrition & hunger, child marriages, teenage pregnancies & long distance commutes on foot to school are just a few of the challenges children face on a daily basis. Because of these barriers, 74% of learners in Malawi will drop out of school before the age of 12. We believe that education is the key to poverty alleviation & we’re on a mission to keep young Malawians in school.

But whoever has the world’s goods, and sees his brother in need and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God abide in him? Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth.

“I have been given a chance to open the door using this key. It is a key, I have seen her doing it, she is walking whilst seated. It is a key of peace. It is a key, see him, he knows how to count and read from the key. It is a key, you can use it to open success’ doors, to be who you want to be. Do not look down, you can make it. For you have a key.”
